Students walking through permaculture farm gate.

After twenty years of leading and witnessing permaculture courses with too little meaningful and immersive hands-on experience, we are offering this course as a deep dive into the practical application of permaculture design to regenerative land management. Join us to practice and develop experiential skills on a working regenerative agriculture project.

Farm work can be exceedingly hard on the land, and our bodies and minds. Permaculture helps us ease the burden with new and ancient techniques and permaculture-adjacent practices. Gain experience working to see what types of regenerative and ecological agriculture appeal to you. These skills are valued on farms and restoration projects all over the world, and will be needed if you plan to start your own farm or have land you are already tending.

Work in high efficiency vegetable production plots, silvopasture systems with poultry, forest garden management, water harvesting earthworks, agroforestry, and not least, contemplate in a group of peers what it means to have a truly regenerative farm design process that guides decision making. This course is guided by expert instruction from regenerative farmers, sharing what they’ve learned over decades in the field.
