This course for permaculture practitioners, aspiring farmers, farm managers, and regenerative ag consultants immerses us in the ecological design process. Thoughtful attention to design is a key distinguishing characteristic of projects that have used permaculture well. In this course we will examine the processes we use by default and learn advanced application of permaculture design process to take what we know deeper.

With a farm development focus, this course will give you practical experience in designing for regenerative agriculture. From perennial production and agroforestry to mixed vegetable market gardens to animals on pasture, you will learn how to design in context ecologically with proper planning for work load, yield, and profit. From water management and road alignment to required facilities and infrastructure to crop protection strategies, you will learn how to design and develop your farm properly for the first time and/or make adjustments to correct past mistakes.

We are passionate about offering this course for farms trying to regenerate ecosystems while making profitable decisions. Whether you’re a farm just getting started or a seasoned farm looking to lighten the load, this course is designed to help you make your life easier. Learn from two deeply experienced instructors, land planners and managers, and authors.
