Our farm is our home, and it is open for public only on certain days. We recognize that there is strong interest and need for learning more about permaculture applications, and we strive to create space and time to welcome visitors. We don’t receive any funding to support our work at the farm and as such our time with you is our personal time. Therefore we charge a fee for all of farm visitors to assure that our work in permaculture is sustainanable.
At the moment, we offer three options:
Join us for our Farm Days: these are offered several times per year, typically during warm season (May - October). We post announcements on our home page, and send email newsletter notices to those who sign up for our newsletter.
Out of Town Visitors:
Our time commitments permitting, we offer a two days/two nights stay at our farm. We offer comfortable accommodation in our charming guest house (see photo on the left side), there are two guest rooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. Cost is $75/per person per day, it includes a historic adobe guest house accommodations, a two-hours farm tour, a hands-on learning opportunity with Arina (weather, time and season permitting), and plentiful opportunity to relax, learn, observe and participate in our gardens and animal yard.
We live in an intentional community, and our visitors are community visitors. We don’t offer seclusion or extreme privacy, this is a friendly, relaxed people-oriented place. The guest house has a full kitchen for your use. Please contact us in advance to book your visit. We ask for $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your reservations in the guest house.
Short Term Visitors: for those who are unable to join us during Farm Days, we may be able to schedule an alternative day for a guided tour. Minimum group size is five adults (or $50 fee) per visit, or $10 for each adult over five.
If you are coming by yourself and are interested in taking our permaculture design course, your $50 fee is given back to you as a discount for any of our permaculture certificate programs. In that case you need to request your discount right away, sorry we don’t do retroactive discounts.
We don’t allow dogs on our land.
