Sustainable living in drylands has its own specifics. A class group is examining a gabion (placed in a drainage in 1930-s) and the resulting healing of the watershed with its grasses, stable slope and moisture retention. That location is ready for orchards or wildlife plantings.
Permaculture Drylands Network
We are putting PERMACULTURE sites on the map!
Our previous map with over 15,000 visitors worldwide has been unexpectedly retired by the service provider, and no archival information is available. So we are starting over! As a show of strength and global solidarity, please consider adding yourself to the permaculture map. Please note that you can move the map by clicking on it with your mouse and pulling it up, down, left or right. You can also zoom in or out.
