Join us for this seven-day long retreat with internationally-acclaimed instructors of permaculture to polish off your own teaching skills, methods and approaches, engage with other teachers and students of permaculture. This retreat is for those of you who aspire to teach the permaculture certificate course, in parts or in whole. This retreat is designed to increase your effectiveness as a teacher of permaculture.  The pedagogy of permaculture has made it such an effective and life-altering experience and we would like to share that pedagogy with you.  This training is designed for both the experienced and inexperienced teachers. Teacher Training is now required for all permaculture certificate holders who wish to teach permaculture and/or who are working on their Permaculture Diploma in Education.

This retreat includes student teaching, class exercises, handouts, and critiques.  INVISIBLE STRUCTURES curriculum review helps teachers create a familiarity with participatory permaculture course. Permaculture Design is critical to any collaborative community efforts and permaculture’s most important application lies within business and community development. Teachers learn a cohesive approach that ties permaculture principles directly to economic and community development. Learning modules include Creating Business Guilds and Finding your Right-Livelihood.

Come prepared to teach random sections of the Permaculture Design Certification Course and also your favorite section. 
Also come prepared to laugh and have fun in a supportive and inspiring setting! 
Fees include instruction, bunk bed accommodations in the farm house and incredible food!

LOGISTICS: This retreat is held at the Rolling Earth Farm and Retreat Center in Roberts Creek, BC, Canada. Nearest airport is Vancouver, participants will receive travel information on request. Travel from the airport to site is possible via public transport + ferry.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Participants stay in the lovely Rolling Earth Farm and Retreat farm house (see link for details). Ample organic meals, snacks, and abundant coffee are included in the cost of this retreat.

REGISTRATION FEES:
Class fees include accommodation in the guest house, three wonderful meals and snacks per day, and class instruction. The course is limited to 16 participants with permaculture design course certificates.  Below are two links for paying in USD (top button) and in CAD (bottom button) respectively. REGISTRATION/PAYMENT: Please submit your Essay at the time of registration. Include information on your PDC (year, names of your teachers, location) - required.
We accept payments by check/money order (see mailing address at the bottom of this page) and credit card/PayPal. Your payment is your registration. Due to high credit card processing fees, credit card payments are subject to additional fees. Feel free to send a check if registering in a timely manner.
