The Mamallacta family (shown here with Scott Pittman and Shannyn Sollitt) is respected for its contribution to the preservation of the traditional knowledge about plants, tropical rainforest and healing. The family had built a plant nursery (vivero) for propagation of rare and potent plants, which have special properties.
