San Lorenzo single mother’s gardening co-op is a guerilla gardening group who took over city land to grow food for their families, and later started a farmers market. Under the direction and sponsorship of Permaculture Institute Ecuador’s president Maria Victoria Arboleda this group created economic opportunity for single women families in San Lorenzo.
